Dr. Tina O. Isichei is a Nigerian industrial chemist, researcher and innovation-development professional. She serves as Director of Research and Development at the Petroleum Training Institute (PTI), Effurun, Delta State, where her work supports applied research, technical capacity-building and innovation in Nigeria’s petroleum and energy sectors.
She earned a BSc and an MSc in Industrial Chemistry from the University of Benin and a PhD in Environmental/Analytical Chemistry in 2012. Her doctoral research explored product development from water hyacinth, reflecting her interest in turning waste materials into useful products. She is an advocate of circular-economy approaches and has published research in scientific journals.
At PTI, Isichei has contributed to research teams, quality-management initiatives and technical education. She promotes collaboration between research institutions and industry so that scientific work can move beyond reports and laboratories into products and services with economic and societal value.
