Chukwudi is currently the Nigeria Country Director for the Chartered Institute of Procurement, and Supply (CIPS) and Advisory Board Chairman of a leading international school in Nigeria. He is a procurement and supply management professional and brings over 20 years of experience that cuts across, public, private, and not for profit sectors. He has worked as procurement and supply management lead for a range of organisations within the public and not for profit sectors in Nigeria, and his last role was Nigeria Country Manager for CIPS Health Procurement Africa Programme for over five years.
He has led major and successful procurement and supply management initiatives and transformation efforts in Nigeria, especially in the health sector, and believes that the world can be changed for good through effective procurement and supply practices. This conviction has been strengthened by his current role within the global team of CIPS which has exposed him to practical procurement and supply transformation experiences from several countries of the world.
His qualifications amongst others include a Bachelor of Pharmacy from the University of Nigeria, Master of Science (MSc) in operations and supply chain management from the University of Liverpool, and a certificate in organisational leadership from Harvard Business School Online. He is a Fellow of CIPS, Honorary Fellow of Association of Public Procurement Practitioners of Nigeria, and a Project Management Professional.
Chukwudi is widely travelled both locally and internationally and has mentored numerous procurement and supply management professionals across Nigeria and beyond. He is a passionate advocate for transforming procurement and supply into a strategic lever for economic growth and sustainable development.
