A sound Academic, a seasoned Administrator, and currently serves as the Dean, Faculty of Management Sciences, Nile University of Nigeria. Alumnus of George Washington University, Washington DC, USA, South-eastern University and University of Benin. She has Bachelor of Business in Accounting, Masters in Finance, Ph.D in Management. With additional training at Graduate School of Public Administration and International Affairs, University of Pennsylvania, U.S.A on Leadership and Corporate Governance and another, from Oxford Brooks University, Wheatley, Oxford., United Kingdom on Linkages and Collaborations
May is the National President, Association of Entrepreneurship Scholars of Nigeria (AES), with special concern for Youth leadership and Empowerment. She has nurtured numerous students at both undergraduate and post-graduate levels. She is distinguished Nigerian female writer and the Winner of Nigerian Author’s CHEVRON PRIZE for Environmental writing 2014. Former National Vice President of Nigerian Authors. A Fellow of Certified National Accountants (FCNA), A Fellow of Nigerian Institute of Management, (FNIM) as well as a Fellow of Chartered Institute of Forensics and Fraud Examiners of Nigeria (FCIFFIN).
She has many Academic publications, in books, Book chapters, and journal articles in reputable local and international journals. She also has other books in novels and short stories. She has attended many Seminars, Workshops, and conferences local and international, and presented numerous papers, in four continents: Africa, Europe, America and Asia, as well as all the geo-political zones in Nigeria.

Concerned about the Socio-economic status of the poor as well as meeting the needs of a growing body of vulnerable youths, her Inaugural lecture titled: “That evil called Poverty: Entrepreneurial Escape to a comfort Zone” received national acclaim at the time of delivery.
In 2024, she was invite as a facilitator at the at ECOWAS Parliament in Ivory Coast to speak on the THEME: The Role of ECOWAS Parliament in Community Budget Formulation and Monitoring.
Recently, she was appointed Lead Consultant / Facilitator for Cognity Advisory Training for All Nigerian Universities funded by TETFUND titled “Fostering University-Community Collaboration through Local Economic Development (LED)”, among others.
May Nwoye is an advocate of non-violent conflict resolution, one of the most passionate and eloquent voices in the course for social and economic justice. May Nwoye is a Global Diplomat and Eminent Peace Ambassador. She is a golf player with 'handicap 26'.
