Professor Florence Nduka is a distinguished academic and researcher with over three decades of experience in higher education and biomedical science. She currently serves as a Professor at the University of Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria, where she has been instrumental in advancing research and teaching in medical parasitology. Her scholarly expertise spans clinical research, epidemiology, life sciences, and data analysis, with a particular focus on parasitic infections such as malaria and schistosomiasis.
Prior to her current role, Professor Nduka held several key positions at Abia State University, including Director of Research and Publication and Public Orator. In these capacities, she oversaw the dissemination of research findings, coordinated inaugural lectures, and facilitated academic publishing. Her earlier career as a biomedical scientist was marked by extensive research into the impact of quarry mining on the epidemiology of parasitic diseases, contributing valuable insights to public health and environmental studies.
Professor Nduka holds both a Bachelor of Science and a PhD in Medical Parasitology from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka. She is a respected resource person in communication skills and public speaking, and is fluent in Igbo.
